Māmane

Mamane are the dominant trees in high elevation subalpine forests. It is drought and wind tolerant, but does not thrive in clay soils or in coastal areas. The bright yellow flowers are attractive to pollinators and its orange seeds are used in lei. It is the primary food source for the endemic Palila bird.

All seed packets are 4.75″ tall x 3.25″ wide and ≤ 4 grams (.008 lbs).
