Kamanā Butter Bean

Kamanā Butter Bean

These delicious heirloom lima beans are black in color and turn purple when cooked. The vigorous vines need good support and will produce heavily for one to three years. The beans can be cooked and eaten plain, added to soups, or made into a tasty bean dip. Soak seeds overnight and sow directly in the ground. Once established, vines can become invasive, so keep them trained to a trellis.

All seed packets are 4.75″ tall x 3.25″ wide and ≤ 4 grams (.008 lbs).
