This hardy passionfruit thrives in poor soils at low elevations, making it ideal for most home growers. Its flowers are attractive to pollinators, and the mild, sweet fruits are delicious in desserts and beverages. Also known as the sweet calabash, this species has single-lobed leaves and a hard, stone-like rind.
